We heard through the grapevine (read: BON) that one of our favorite Texas exes Nathan Vasher hit the jackpot with the Chicago Bears. Vasher signed a five-year $28 million extension that will keep him in Chicago through 2012. In honor of Vasher's big pay day, today's box score is from one of his biggest moments. This victory kept Texas's chances of a Big XII Championship and BCS game alive (for two more weeks), and continued the Horns dominance of Nebraska in Lincoln. Many of us wondered what the hell Nebraska's offense was doing on the field with under :20 to play in the game and in field goal range. Vasher's INT near the goalline sealed the win. Texas 27, Nebraska 24.
