The Horns were doomed by a combination of bad luck, an unfortunate bracket, and bad play in the Round Rock regional. After reaching the College World Series for five straight seasons, Texas has now failed to reach the super regional round for the second straight year. Football, basketball and baseball had at least somewhat disappointing seasons in 2006-2007, which for Texas fans is the same as successful seasons for other fans. We are now just 89 days away from football season, is it too early to start questioning Greg Davis's second down play calling?
